This video is an excellent reminder as to why we should all cap our speed, especially when there’s other cars around.

A company in Switzerland has conducted tests on cars during 125mph impacts and the results are, well, pretty staggering.

Incredible, isn’t it? Even the concrete block used to brace the stationary car moves and there’s really not much left of either vehicle once the impact’s over.

Here’s what it looks like from in front of the crash. It’s no less terrifying.

These crashes aren’t just for fun, though, as the Swiss research company is looking into how impacts like these can be prevented or at the very least improved.
