When we think of concept cars, we usually think of a car that we will never actually get to experience.

However, Volkswagen’s new Golf GTI Vision Gran Turismo concept will be at the touch of a button for gamers – appearing in a recent update for Gran Turismo 6 on PS3.

We reckon VW should turn this concept into real-life car though, and here’s why:

#1 It’s even more exciting than the standard GTI – and the R too

And you thought Golfs couldn’t get much hotter…

#2 The name

It’s full name is “Golf GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo”. Every single part of that is cool.

#3 It’s stupidly fast

The VR6 TSI engine kicks out a whopping 503 BHP, shifting it from 0 to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds and it can reach over 186mph.

#4 It’s got big bits

From the massive spoiler, to the wide arches and even the 20″ GTI alloy wheels, everything on this car is adequately-proportioned.

#5 Even the colour choices sound cool

It will come in “Reflex Silver”, “Gran Turismo Red”, “Lapiz Blue” or “Oryx White”. We want one of each.

#6 It’s got an evil grin

When you look at it head on the face resembles a somewhat deviant smirk, so you know it means business.

#7 It spits fire!
