Chris Evans May Not Have The Stomach For Top Gear After All
If the reports are to be believed, new Top Gear isn’t going all that well.
In recent weeks we’ve heard that producers and scriptwriters have quit, one presenter is now busy doing something else and figurehead Chris Evans can’t drive and talk at the same time. Now it might turn out that he gets car sick too.
According to newspaper reports, this latest incident occurred as Evans was being given a passenger ride around the pretty fearsome Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca in California.
Co-presenter and Queen of the Ring Sabine Schmitz was doing the driving duties in an Audi R8 V10 when she had to pull over to let Evans grab some fresh air – reportedly also seen ‘retching’.

It should be pointed out that a lot of the negative stories surrounding new Top Gear have come from sources not only used to lambasting TG in particular but also the BBC in general. However, the long-lens paparazzi shots do reveal a very queasy-looking TV presenter.
Still, we can’t think of many people who’d keep their lunch down when being driven round the ferocious Corkscrew by a racing driver in a supercar…
If this does turn out to be a problem for Evans, it wouldn’t be the first time that a Top Gear presenter had issues regarding the contents of his stomach…
