Embarrassing Moment Overfinch Range Rover Is Rescued By 40-Year-Old Ancestor

Oh dear, how embarrassing . . .
Don’t you just hate it when your costly dream machine has to be rescued by a 40-year-old vehicle?
That’s just what happened in Devon when what is believed to be an Overfinch Range Rover – that cost upwards of £100,000 when new – got caught out trying to tow a jet ski in the muddy estuary at Salcombe.
It’s thought the tyres weren’t best suited to the conditions – fitted for speed, rather than grip – so what happened was pretty inevitable.
Fortunately for the (mud) slick machine, a redoubtable Land Rover hailing from the ’70s was soon on the scene.
And it wasn’t long before it had spared its heavyweight, modern-day, luxury counterpart from further mud-related blushes.

Pssst!
