Ferrari 488 GT3 Gets Wrecked At Nürburgring As Overtake Goes Horribly Wrong

The Nürburgring is known as the Green Hell for a reason. It can and will claim any supercar it wants to – whether that’s because of the track itself or because of some silly overtaking manoeuvre.
The latter is the reason for this latest crash, as we see a Ferrari 488 GT3 attempt an overtake on a Porsche – and it all went downhill after the driver thought he’d completed the move.
Competing in the DMV 4-Hour Race at the Nordschleife on Saturday, our Fezza driver decides to cut up the 911 GT3 Cup racer and clips the nose of the Porsche, sending itself into the barrier.
The 488 goes nose-first into the Armco, completely smashing the front end into an unrecognisable mess.
After spinning across the track in front of the Porsche, the Ferrari comes to a halt, after which the driver gets out and starts berating the 911 driver.
We aren’t quite sure why though, as it was his fault and ruined both their races. The vehicles were eventually towed away to clear the track, and thankfully both drivers don’t appear to have been injured.
Pssst!
