When it comes to winter motoring, you want a nice, sensible off-roader, right?

Well, this GT-R owner doesn’t agree, preferring to unleash 550hp of Nissan’s finest horsepower on to the unsuspecting white stuff.

Just for good measure, this particular GT-R likes to hurl flames from the exhaust. The owner isn’t averse to a spot of launch control either…

After a few launches and donuts – doing its civic duty as a snow plough – the GT-R engages in a spot of ice drag racing with a Dodge Challenger.

The result is fairly predictable…

… though they don’t exactly run to the regulation quarter mile!

If there’s a more expensive way of clearing snow than using a GT-R to throw and melt it away, we’re not sure what it is.
