Formula One Fan Arrested For Invading Chinese GP Track
“If it’s illegal to want to drive a Ferrari F1 car, then arrest me!”
…is what we imagine one F1 fan was saying as he was escorted from the pits this morning.
We’ve all wanted to get close to the Formula One action, but this spectator took things a little too far when he made a dash across the track during free practice this morning.
Pictured below, the spectator is reported to have scaled a 10-foot fence before crossing the start-finish straight and diving into the pit lane. It’s then said that he entered the Ferrari garage waving his ticket in the air, and said:
I want a car. I have got a ticket.
Sounds like he really wanted a go, but instead he got handed over to the authorities and was swiftly removed from the circuit. We doubt he’s going to be watching the race trackside on Sunday.
