Here’s what you need to know about the new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo S E-Hybrid
Porsche has announced that it’s introducing hybrid technology to its Panamera Sport Turismo car – electrifying one of the most interesting cars to come out of 2017.
With a sleek, shooting-brake-style design, the Sport Turismo impressed audiences when it was first revealed in 2012 and now it’s been given hybrid technology. Here’s what you need to know about Stuttgart’s latest.
It’s got close to 700bhp
Thanks to a 4.0-litre V8 linked to an electric motor, the Sport Turismo produces 671bhp and an impressive 850Nm of torque. This power allows the Porsche to sprint from 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds.
It’s remarkably efficient
Porsche claims that thanks to that electric motor the Sport Turismo S E-Hybrid can return 94.2mpg and emit just 69g/km CO2 – not bad for a car capable of 193mph.
It won’t take all that long to charge the battery

In keeping with the vast majority of hybrids, the Sport Turismo S E-Hybrid will take 2.4 to six hours to charge from empty, depending on the power output you’ve got it hooked up to.
It’ll still get all the standard Porsche toys
You’ll still be able to specify Porsche’s advance cockpit infotainment system and features such as adaptive cruise control.
We like! A lot!
