Honda’s Amazing New Bike Tech Will Help Riders Keep Their Balance
The thing with two-wheeled vehicles is that they can sometimes be difficult to balance on.
But Honda is hoping to banish those problems completely by introducing ‘Riding Assist’ technology.
It’s demonstrated rather spectacularly in a short video by the Japanese manufacturer that shows a technician balancing on the pegs with no problem – and then another techie is followed by the bike out of a building.
It’s a pretty impressive step forward by Honda, with the bike not needing any gimbals or gyroscopes, which would add weight. Instead, technologies first applied in the UNI-CUB personal mobility device are used.
Let’s hope this sort of tech is on the roads soon, as it could come in very handy indeed.
