Feel The Speed At IndyCar Grand Prix Thanks To Awesome Helmetcam Footage

Ever wanted to know what it’s like to get behind the wheel of an IndyCar? Well, helmetcam footage from racer Graham Rahal is about as close as you’ll likely ever get.

The incredible video was recorded during qualifying for the Detroit Grand Prix, and shows Rahal absolutely belting it around the Belle Isle circuit last weekend.

And when we say belting it, Rahal really is belting it. Not only did he secure pole position for the first time in eight years, he also won both of the weekend’s races and managed to achieve the highest average speed (more than 100mph) in the race’s history.

Perhaps the new owners of Formula One could learn a thing or two from the video and start broadcasting similar footage from the likes of Lewis Hamilton and co.

Hold on to your hats, folks…

Pssst!
