A five-exit roundabout was in place before someone decided that a 42-strong traffic light system was the solution.

Locals have been left angry and confused by the new system which has been described by Howard Tomlinson, of the Grovehill Action Group as “like spaghetti junction”. You tell ’em Howard.

Just to rub salt in the wounds of East Yorkshire drivers, it also set them back a whopping £22m, that’s enough to buy 2,317 Dacia Dusters. And who doesn’t want that many Dacias?
