Unfortunately for the 56-year-old, who had accelerated under a security barrier in the Dutch town of Bruinisse, things didn’t go at all to plan…

He can thank his lucky stars that he escaped with his life, but he suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs after falling on to a concrete barrier while getting out of the water. Stupid is as stupid does…
