Matt LeBlanc Spotted Filming In A Portsmouth Petrol Station With The World’s Ugliest Car

Barely a day after it was confirmed that Matt LeBlanc will be returning to present Top Gear he’s been spotted filming in an unexpected location.

Caught shopping at a Nisa supermarket in a Jet garage in Portsmouth, LeBlanc and colleague Rory Reid were apparently engaged in filming for some sort of challenge or road trip. Needless to say, Twitter and Facebook went mad:

Whatever the purpose, LeBlanc might be wondering if the new contract is really worth it, given that he was being made to drive SsangYong’s spacious but rather ugly Rodius people carrier.

The presenters and crew were filming in and around the garage early in the morning, reportedly filling a box with crisps and sweets before heading out behind a camera car.

They didn’t have far to go before their next stop, being spotted in the afternoon at Swanwick, near Southampton, where they seem to have stopped for another bite to eat to go with the snack box that they’d picked up earlier – we guess LeBlanc wasn’t totally in character in this scene from Friends:

Joey doesn't share food

Unfortunately, the staff in the supermarket told us they’d had to sign non-disclosure agreements preventing them from discussing the Top Gear team’s plans for Hampshire and the Rodius.

Guesses on a postcard…

Pssst!
