Four German mechanics from the automotive parts and repairs company kfzteile24 have smashed the world record for changing all four tyres on a road car.

Watched over by a Guinness World Records official, the team – comprising Marco Herzlieb, Denis Werner, Gordon Neumann and Florian Walkenhors – sliced an amazing 24.23 seconds off the previous record, breaking the minute barrier in doing so.

They achieved it in just 59.62 seconds and – even more astonishingly – did so using just wheel wrenches and car jacks, as the rules expressly forbid the use of any electric tools.
