Nissan Breaks World Record With Huge Glow In The Dark Painting

We’ve admitted that we like what Nissan has done by giving one of its all-electric LEAFs an all-over glow.
But things have now got somewhat bizarre with the manufacturer breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest glow-in-the-dark painting.
Car-crazy artist Ian Cook – aka PopbangColour – created the 207.68m² portrait of the front of the all-electric car by using the LEAF’s tyres to spread pools of luminous acrylic paint (more than 60 litres of the glowing stuff) over a PVC-coated canvas.
The masterpiece took more than 61 hours to create but you can watch it take shape in a video that, mercifully, has been condensed to just less than a minute and a half:
Pssst!
