Candide Thovex, skier extraordinaire and fabled film-maker, is almost as well known for his YouTube shorts as he is for dropping cliffs.

We get it, Thovex. You have some pretty good days!

The Frenchman, who hails from the Alpine ski resort of La Clusaz, has now proved that his talents stretch beyond the snow, with a new video filmed to promote Audi’s all-wheel-drive ‘Quattro’ system.

Speeding through the empty resort of Megève, there is not a speck of the white stuff to be seen, but the 33-year-old still puts every other skier to shame.

As he flips off hidden kickers and grinds along pebbled mountain passes, you can’t help but wonder how many pairs of skis he gets through in a year.

But then, what does it matter when he can flip into the back of an awaiting Q7…?
