At a recent Porsche 911 Carrera Cup event at the Circuito de Navarra in Spain, two unfortunate drivers were left in a precarious position following a crash.
When race leader, Joffrey de Narda, received a tail tap from the pursuing Alexander Cougnud his car was spun 180 degrees, providing the perfect take off ramp for Jules Gounon.
The Frenchman’s car was left balanced atop that of his countryman, leaving the pursuing cars to steer around them and continue the race.
As a result of the crash, Gounon was diagnosed with two fractured vertebrae, while uninjured De Narda went on to win the final race of the weekend.
