This Russian ATV Really Can Take You Anywhere

Partial to the occasional amphibious beach assault? Maybe a bit of casual wilderness conquering? If so, we have the perfect machine for you.
Meet Sherp, the quirkiest and most ridiculous looking off-road utility device the world has seen in recent years. Despite the toy car looks, Sherp is supremely functional. It has to be seen to be believed, so luckily we have video of it making the recently deceased Defender (RIP) look a bit quaint.
Here’s what Sherp itself has to say about its wacky creation:
“Neither rover does not have such a set of qualities in the world, making it an indispensable and reliable assistant, friend and rescuer in the most remote places on the planet”.
Beware, that was a literal translation of a quote from the sherp.ru site but you get a picture of the pride it has for its product.
We reckon that pride is well placed. As the video demonstrates, this thing can turn on a penny, climb most reasonable obstacles and use its enormous rutted wheels to propel it through water like a paddle steamer. Yes, it really is amphibious.
