Siri Saves Tennessee Teen Who Was Pinned Under Truck
Siri is Apple’s answer to a personal assistant.
It can send texts, make calls and schedule appointments.
And now it can add another accolade to it’s already impressive list – saving lives.
When Tennessee teen Sam Ray became trapped under a van he was working on, he was alone, injured and helpless.
But then he remembered his phone was sat in his back pocket, and with a little wiggling managed to activate Siri and use it to call the emergency services who quickly responded.
While sustaining several broken ribs, a bruised kidney, cuts, concussion and burns to his left arm, Sam is alive, which he puts down to Siri.
He said: “I guess I’m stuck with an iPhone for the rest of my life, I owe them that.”
