This Stunt Driver’s Parking World Record Will Be The Coolest Thing You’ll See Today
We all love it when we ace our parallel parking.
Quickly nabbing a tight space in a rush, there’s nothing quite like it. This guy took it to another level at Brooklands Museum on Guinness World Records Day last Thursday, though.
The bloke in question is a professional stunt driver by the name of Alistair Moffatt, and he’s just claimed the Guinness World Record for Tightest Reverse Parallel Parking, managing it with just 34cm of spare space either side of a dinky Mini Cooper and shaving 1cm off the previous record in the process.
Moffatt said afterwards:
I am so thrilled that I was able to achieve a Guinness World Record title today – especially on Guinness World Records Day. It doesn’t get much better than that. A lot of planning, dedication and, of course, parking went into today’s successful record attempt.
