TechArt Unveils Meanest Panamera Bodykit
For plenty of people, the Porsche Panamera is what some might call ‘ugly’. That’s certainly what we thought when it first came into our eyeline in 2009 – and automatically made us want to shut our eyes again.
Since then, the German brand has managed to refine the looks and it’s now a much better-looking prospect in the grand tourer/super saloon sector, especially with the upcoming Sport Turismo model – that thing is delightful!
But there’s always someone who wants to alter the looks that little bit more, and the latest creation from German tuners TechArt is a Panamera upgrade called the GrandGT.
In the pictures unveiling the new kit, the grey paintwork and new aerodynamic additions help to make the Panamera look pretty mean and much more chiselled than before.
TechArt has taken the standard grille and given the front end a more aggressive façade that adds air inlets to the side and also lowers the bumper for an attacking stance.
With flared wheel arches, sills and rear bumper, this is much more like a GT3 racer than before, and with the addition of the sporty yet considerate wing, TechArt has done a superb job converting the Panamera into an evil-looking machine.
To be honest, we aren’t surprised the people at TechArt did this to the Panamera after what they did to a 911 Turbo…
