Our top 10 cars of the Goodwood Revival car park

Our top 10 cars of the Goodwood Revival car park

Goodwood. Known for its motorsport, horseracing and also its incredible car parks.

OK, maybe the third one is just us, but have a scroll through our top 10 spots from the Goodwood Revival public car park and we’re sure you’ll agree.

1. Lamborghini Espada

Lamborghini’s attempt at a sensible four-seat grand tourer. It worked.

2. Renault ‘Ferrari’ Estafette

Living proof that sticking red paint and Ferrari logos on a vehicle makes it so much cooler.

3. Ferrari Dino GT

The car parks at Goodwood were pretty muddy, and this Belgium-registered Dino shows that.

4. Mercedes 300SL Gullwing

One of the most beautiful cars ever made. Also produced at a time when doors opening upwards were cool.

5. 1932 Rolls-Royce

If you only had one car in which to turn up at the Goodwood Revival, a 1930s Rolls-Royce would be high on the list.

6. 1970s Mercedes van/fake AC Cobra

If there’s a better way to cover your (fake) AC Cobra from rain at Goodwood, we’d like to see it.

7. Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

One of the prettiest Alfas ever made – and that’s saying something.

8. Lamborghini Miura

We have a lot of respect for the owner of this Miura for bringing it to Goodwood on a muddy day.

9. Aston Martin DB4

The Aston that a lot of people forget about amid the James Bond fever that erupts over the DB5. Still an achingly beautiful car, particularly when they are as clean as this one.

10. Ferrari 275 GTB

An unbelievable car to see parked casually in the car park, especially as it’s worth well in excess of £1m.

In short, the car parks at any Goodwood motorsport event are a show in their own right, so if you’re ever unfortunate enough to miss out on tickets to whatever automotive goodness that Goodwood is staging, this is what we (unofficially) recommend instead.
