Top-Secret Stats Reveal Aston Martin Valkyrie Will Have 1,115bhp

We’ve been eagerly anticipating the stunning Aston Martin Valkyrie ever since it was announced last year.
The drip feed of information has only served to make us even more excited, but now the guys over at Road & Track have unearthed some juicy specifics.
An unnamed source has confirmed that it will be powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 and electric hybrid system combining to make 1,115bhp. Incredibly, it weighs just 1,030kg – Road & Track puts that succinctly into perspective, noting it makes it lighter than a Mazda MX-5 with more power than a LaFerrari. Wow!

Aston has teamed up with Red Bull Racing in the development of the car, and F1 aero legend Adrian Newey has given his expertise to ensure the car sticks to the road. Photos show very few wings and spoilers, with most of the downforce created through clever ‘ground effects’ to minimise drag.
It also gets F1-style energy recovery systems to recharge the car’s batteries.
This is shaping up to be a pretty special car. The handful of people who’ll get to own one are very lucky indeed!
Pssst!
