Tow Rope Trips Up Pedestrians In London

This month’s Tube strike led to very high levels of traffic throughout the centre of London. Not amusing in the slightest, you’d have thought. But there was a funny incident in New Oxford Street.

A Ford Transit Connect van was towing a Citroën Berlingo with a BRIGHT ORANGE rope, yet people just kept missing it for some reason.

Mike Chiverton captured footage of people trying to avoid the rope, with most pedestrians stepping over it, others choosing to skip over it, and some failing in epic style by either tripping on the *ahem BRIGHT ORANGE ROPE or falling over it.
