Formula E driver Sebastien Buemi has a bone to pick with his fellow racing drivers
Motorsport can get very heated sometimes and is often a stressful environment to be in. Remember Jason Plato and Matt Neal nearly having fisticuffs?
Well, another heated exchange has been caught on camera between Sebastien Buemi and Antonio Felix Da Costa, Robert Frijns and Daniel Abt.
Two separate exchanges of views took place, with Buemi fuming because Da Costa or Frijns reportedly struck his car on the second corner of the first lap during the FIA Formula E race in Montreal.
As Buemi confronts Da Costa he can be heard saying:
You hit me man, you hit me at the start of turn two. You dived, you were behind him or not?
Things all get a bit tense from there as the tiff gets out of hand. All three drivers start getting in each other’s faces, culminating in Frijns swearing at Buemi before he moves on to his next argument with Abt.
It gets even more awkward as he confronts Abt about holding him up in the pit lane, and even accuses him of smacking into the back of his car too – something Abt strongly denies.
The two eventually part ways with the tension so thick it could be cut with a knife. Even the presenter looks out of place as he desperately tries to overlook what has happened by plying Buemi with questions about the race – which he clearly isn’t remotely interested in answering.
