Truck Gets Smashed To Bits By Train After Crossing Signals Fail
Train crossings are treacherous places to get stuck, but if at the crucial moment the barriers fail and no warning lights flash, then all hell can break loose.
And in Utah that’s exactly what happened, as a FedEx truck gets RKO’d outta nowhere by a passenger train.
At the crossing in North Salt Lake, one FedEx lorry crosses over the tracks about one second before the calamity, and as the footage-filming police car behind it waits, another FedEx truck trundles through from the other direction.
The truck then just gets destroyed by a passenger train, sending packages flying and leaving the trailer in tatters.
The train seems to carry on regardless – and then, to rub salt into the wound, the lights finally begin to flash and the barriers descend, leaving the truck between them.
We feel sorry for the truck driver, but maybe next time they should look both ways before they cross, because let’s be honest, that wasn’t exactly a small double-decker train was it?
