Ultra-low mileage classic Ferrari set to go under the hammer
Do you have a place in your stable for a cool, classic Prancing Horse? Look no further…
This Ferrari 328 GTS is going under the hammer at the Barons Classic, Collectors and Sports Cars sale at Sandown Park on Saturday October 28.
This 1985 model, finished in Rosso Corsa paint, is an exceptional example, as it has only covered 18,876 miles in total, with only slightly more than 1,000 of those being in the last 26 years.
The 328 GTS has a 3.2-litre V8 engine, producing 270bhp, and allowing for a 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 163mph. The naturally aspirated unit is connected to a five-speed manual gearbox, so this really is a proper driver’s car.
The car has full documentation covering its five previous owners and is still on its original number plates. It has also has a full polish detail from Service Amari, meaning the buyer will be getting their hands on a very clean machine.
The 328 GTS was the successor to the 308 GTS. It wasn’t a hugely different car, but had minor improvements to its body styling and engine displacement. It is often considered to be one of Ferrari’s most reliable models.
The guide price for the car is £65,000 to £85,000, which we think is definitely a worthwhile investment, considering how much this car will increase in value over the coming years.
