The Weird, Wonderful And Collectable From eBay This Week

Barn find has become a glorified term batted around the internet for anything that might not have been used for a few years.

But if you’ve got the time to scout around eBay there are still some gems waiting to be found, and those not posted as a barn find can sometimes turn out to be even more special.

From the much loved to the never heard of, below are just some of vehicles for sale which have had very interesting histories.

1950 Bond Scooter

Created by Bond, made famous for its microcars and not being an undercover spy, this 50s scooter is seriously cool. According to the advert it has been in storage since since 1986, but we just love the bizarre enclosed wheels and deathly sharp edges and metal badges.

Sierra Cosworth Group A Rally Car

Everyone loves a Sierra Cosworth and it’s not every day you get the opportunity to purchase a Group A rally car. This one actually won the Group A category and narrowly missed the overall championship by a point, if the advert is to be believed. You’ll need £67,500 to get your hands on it though.

This car needs some love and attention but it has been stood in a garage for more than 30 years! It’s looking a little bit shabby but has the rarity factor for currently less than £1000.

Mini El

This strange, Danish electric motor has a flip up roof and has never actually been registered on the road. It’s sort of like an overgrown Sinclair C5 but despite now needing some work it was owned and stored by the Bubble Car Museum in Lincolnshire previously!

Ok, this is a bit more of a shed than a barn find. However you just have to think of the hot rod potential…

Lambretta Microvan

This seriously quirky van is from the 70s although it’s still looking factory fresh(ish). According to the listing, this van has many uses including becoming a coffee van, an advertising van or… a Postman Pat van?

1981 Ford Fiesta

We’re not sure if we really want to share this little gem with you because, really, we want it for ourselves. With only 32,000 miles under it’s belt in the last 34 years this incredible example is a complete time warp!
